Another Year

Whew! What a year!

It has been a trying year. What with the Maguindanao massacre (which tends to be referred to as the Mindanao massacre, which, of course is unfair since Maguindanao is just a province in Mindanao); the two typhoons that almost drowned much of Luzon; the different transportation accidents; and the bombings in different parts of the land.

But those were the past. The wounds have already been inflicted. But I hope they wouldn't fester. I hope they are already reduced to scars--ones that teach lessons not cultivate hopelessness.

This year, I am praying for a stronger Philippine nation, a united Filipino people, a compassionate and conscientious leadership. Simply, just a blissful and prosperous year for everyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
